TD-Bleed Into The Gutter Your short little teacher is exactly a teacher I had in my first year of college. To the point I had to repeat his class in my second year. The "I love when stuff Bleeds into the Gutter" is exactly the type of stuff he'd say. Plus asking you how you feel about designers/authors, he'd use that to go on 5 minute tirades about how "you shouldn't say you like or dislike something, ever" as a graphic designer, because to him that'd "denote a reductive value on things".
He made me physically and mentally hate Typography for years.
The dude would take a students assignment raise it above his head for the class to see, and say "this work is in a piece of shit state". He'd also brag by saying shit like "you think I need to be here? I could quit the class and just go work at my atelier, I'm here because I was asked" almost like he had to make sure people thought of working for him "as a privilege".
